Handheld Device Synchronization Instructions

The instructions vary depending on whether you use Plucker, iSilo or AvantGo software for web synchronization. You should read and understand the manual for the software you are using.

Following are the basic settings:

• Source location: http://www.gpxspinner.com/caches/name/index.htm where name is the name of the GPX file you used.
• Max Link Depth: 2 for AvantGo and iSilo, 3 for Plucker (counts the source location)
• Include Images: Up to you. Spinner uses basic icons and smileys to show cache and log types. but there is alternate text present if you don't include images.
• Follow Off-Site Links / Stay on host: Doesn't matter. There are no off-site links within the Max Link Depth. If you want custom images for the caches, such as this very important one (note the hint), you should allow off-site links.
• Channel Refresh / Scheduling: Manual. Run it only after spinning a new file.

Also note in Plucker your should set the Retrieval order to Breadth first because Plucker sometimes misses pages when using Depth first.
